I found out something interesting today. Something that in the last few weeks had me wondering.
Subject facial hair.
I am also on a heath kick anti-oxidents, liver, kidney, skin, cardiovasicular, circulation, cellular communication and lots more. And loving estrogens [that's another story] The bottom line is optimun health not what the doctors say is ok for your age. Moto: Growing old without Aging
One of the products I am taking is 7-Keto DHEA a growth hormone from www.lef.org . One unfortunite effect for me is there is a increase in testosterone, an effect in natural females as well who take it.
Five weeks ago I went to hairfree to get my face zapped and every pulse was like a thousnad needles hit that area. My hair was growing very strongly, even my hairdresser noticed as my hair races to my shoulders. I was taking 7-Keto DHEA for 5 weeks prior to the first facial hair treatment. Unfortunitely body hair as well was growing like grass and shaving it off in a extra chore.
But there is a bonus. The first time you get zapped they say they take out 10-20% of hair. As I was taking DHEA this increased hair in the active stage. Three weeks after the first zap I thought more than 20% was taken out. Today the lass confirmed 30-40% was taken out the first time. She supports my discovery and she came up with the percentages and iis interested how follow ups will go.
At $150 a pop and if you are on a budget, and if hair is a burden perhaps this proceedure of growth hormone and a couple of zaps and get perhaps 50% is cheeper option to at least reduce the amount of hair. A full course of treatment to remove darker hair is at least 10 x $150.
After the first teatment I was shaving once every three days. The effect of DHEA will wear of when you stop taking it. But don't forget if you are to contunue over 6 weeks blood monitoring is essential.
