Hello Ladies,
I don't often post to the forums, but this is important for all of us in some way. HREOC have launched a blog for sexuality and gender issues to enable a better overview of these important issues. Here is the excerpt from their site, including a link.
Sex and gender diversity blog launched today!
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU.
Thank you for you interest and participation in HREOC's sex and gender diversity project.
As you may be aware, we recently released the report of our initial consultation. Our report found that difficulty in obtaining appropriate official and identity documents was the most pressing issue for the sex and gender diverse community.
So we can found out more, we have developed an online consultation blog. The blog will help us better understand the various social, medical and legal issues concerning sex and gender diversity.
We look forward to hearing your views on the blog. Please encourage others to use the blog by forwarding this email or directing them to www.humanrights.gov.au/genderdiversity
