With summer's heat comments have continually been made in the chat room to the effect that - "Oh this heat, it was just too hot to dress today."
If this is so, why don't we see on hot days, genetic women either:
(a) Dressed as blockes, or
(b) Walking around naked? |

Very droll, Julie! A nice light sleeveless dress with cotton knickers - forget the bra, wig etc - is very comfortable.

Maybe I am abolutely silly, but I believe you dress to the conditions, and beleive me, after such a warm year, a day with three changes of light clothing (dresses, light blouses, skirts) makes for a better day. As long as a good wash between changes, nothing better. (except a swim in the surf)
Three changes is nothing for me, usually more. Just makes for more laundry work

Living in the tropics, this is a daily occurrence. But I still dress. Usually a nice bra singlet and short skirt, or a nice light-weight sleeveless dress. Every now and then I wear jeans and a singlet. Wet season and the build up to it are the worst time to wear more than a singlet and skirt, yet I will wear jeans from time to time. The dry season is dry but not much cooler during the day, however a night time it cools down perfectly to wear almost anything!
