I've bought by mail from overseas as well as via mail locally AND from a shop - but the survey doesn't allow multiple selections.
I hasten to add I've been more than satisfied with all options, but if I had to choose the overseas option has given the best result in terms of longevity (storage is a problem in the heat of the Tropics) but this is countered by the waiting time.....

for those girlz looking for breast enhancements, these are readily available from Bras n things. There are two types avaialable. The small ones are small clear gel filled inserts, and are about $15. The larger ones are silicone breast forms and are about $60, but these are flesh coloured and will sit in place in the bra cup or can be used with a suitable adhesive and sit on the breast area. They are superb and feel so natural and they even bounce when you walk. This requires a clean hairless area if the adhesive is used. Similar silicone forms are or were avaiable from priceline.
hope this helps
stephanie

Thanks stephanie. Do you know whether you can get these online from bras n things or priceline? i would love to get one of them, if they only cost around 15 dollars. i really hate to go into these stores, as all the female staff will be staring at me. Sad

.............

I have purchased forms from overseas via www.thebreastformstore.com
(they also now have an Australian site) The forms are called Transform Super Soft Classic and I have found them excellent to wear and the service was good too. (they're pricy though)

Another pair called Mystique I purchased via Ebay are ok but not as natural as the ones from The BreastForm Store.

Hi all,

I recently bought the same pair ( soft classic ) from the AU site.
With adhesive tape, it came to jut under $400. Shipping was free.

I got size 4, probably should got size 5 or 6, but still happy none-the-lest.

Being a Newcastle girl, their "shop" is just 15-20 minutes from my place. Tanya and David run it from their home - just ring for an appointment. Their website www.thebreastformstore.com.au has the details. CD-friendly, and discrete. They came to the last Seahorse meeting and sold heaps of nice stuff to us all. Their prices for good breast forms start in the mid-$200's.

Define pricy. The Amoena self-adhesive forms that I bought a few years ago cost me $800 from a local masectomy fitter. It's interesting to note that when sold this way, these are considered to be essential medical equipment and are not subject to GST!

I bought my breasts forms from Penny at Lambton, too, before I became aware of Tania and David. $300 for a run-out model - up to $600 if I bought the latest ones. Again very discrete and friendly service.

I just wish I had a pair when I was younger. I just love the look and feel of them. To think that 20-30 years ago I used rolled up socks and stocking full of birdseed - Yuck!
