QLD-Brisbane- Annie’s Sunday Funday at the Cockatoo Club –Brisbane T-girls Event
Annie hosts a ‘Sunday Funday’ on the 1st Sunday of each Month.
This is a nice way for a wide range of people to meet each other. If you are a confident, outgoing t-girl you can meet other t-girls and other t-girl friendly people. The Cockatoo Club and its clientele are very t-friendly (as are most places).
If you are a cross dresser who is not yet ready to go out dressed, that is ok too, come as a guy. If you are a guy who would like to meet t-girls, we would love your company. Most guys are a bit shy to meet us (even though we don't bite…hard) so you should find t-girls outnumber the guys in our group.
Couples and ladies are most welcome; we know you are usually not as shy as the guys.
Sunday Funday on May 6 2007 saw 5 t-girls and 1 guy in our group which was a nice size for chatting, etc. Later in the evening a few of us went to Family and then coffee and snacks.
June 3rd 2007 started with a nice drinks dinner and chat with 1 guy and 3 t-girls, then off to the dance floor to dance and mingle until after midnight.
The venue has an inside large bar with dance floor and pumped music, and an outside (quieter) area with tables and another bar where one can chat without shouting.
When: First Sunday evening of each month.
Where: Upstairs at The Beat Megaclub 677 Ann Street, Fortutide Valley, Brisbane QLD 4006. The bar is open from 5pm - 5am. Find Annie there after 7pm or call/sms her on 04-0209-8889.
Costs: Entry is $10 before 8pm, but this pays for a meal, $10 of drinks, a raffle ticket. Great value. 8pm - 10.30pm is free entry and after 10.30pm, there is a $7 cover charge.
