can anyone help me, I am looking to go out in Sydney to sit down to a nice meal, there are any transgender friendly restaurants or cafes that other girls can recommend.
Be starting my night at the taxi club so I know I can get a good meal and a drink there, but we should have a list of friendly and safe places where we can go?

Penny,
I've been eating out with groups and with friends for many years now in Sydney. I can't make a list of tgirl friendly places because they all are. In what must now be a hundred or so visits I have only ever had one bad experience - and that was in a Black Stump steak house "out west' where we were seated next to a young (and inquisitive) family.
Any list of T friendly places would just be unmanageable as it would include just about every restaurant!
Just decide what you like to eat and go for it!

As Amanda said, virtually anywhere is Tranny friendly however I'd probably put a visit to McDonalds in femme mode towards the bottom of a list of places I'd want to go.
If you want to dine out with other Girls in TR on a regular basis Try the Newcastle Nights Or the Wednesday Concord nights I post information on
You are more than welcome to join us

Hi Penny,
Anywhere's fine really, any type of food too except maybe young family type restaurants. Going with a few girls makes it easier too. The Taxis fine to start with...maybe try to come out to Concord some time - there's never any hassles. |
