i am about to go on a 8 week trip to Europe. UK, Germany, France, Italy and Greece.
Does anybody have any experience shopping Europe, like which country is best for shoes, clothes and which are best for boy and girl stuff.
I am thinking of taking just on Fem outfit and buying the odd or maybe even outfit.
Also
Which countries are safe for shopping in Fem mode.
And before I any special places to visit in Europe
Thanks very much Vicki |

Hi Vicki,
Was in France winter '08 and though that en femme would be a breeze as all you could see of the women was the centre of their faces!
All rugged up - boots, long coats with collars up, thick scarves and berets! Hardly any flesh to be seen.
I thought that the clothes were overpriced and unless you wanted designer labels they were much the same as available here.
Have a great trip,
Fay |

Hi Viki,
I am originally french, so I know what it is to be en femme over there.
If you are in Paris it's not a problem, and the shopping is great from cheap to very expensive!! It' been 5 years since I left but the best place for "cheap" shopping is between the metro station" chausse d'antin" and all the pigalle and place blanche area.
Every sunday night there is a special TG night at the "Escualita" (google "escualita paris").
I never had a problem in Paris en femme,I took the taxi and the public transport, and even drove ,it was fine(even if driving in Paris is crazy:-)
I also went to London, and took the Eurostar en femme. London is fantastic for us gurls! very expensive but fantastic! there is plenty of transformation shop(my favourites being "the boudoir", Jodie is a fantastic GG, and "Pandora de Pledge"). Don't miss out the "way out" night club, it's great!
I stayed 5 days and spend it 24/7 as a woman, went to see some musicals, shopping, everything was making me feel like a natural woman....
I know italy, greece and germany but not a girl....If you have some more questions viki, just ask...And have a great trip over there!

| Hmmm well being originally from the uk myself and having looked into it i can honestly say the uk has a large community of transgendered girls, i would suggest looking online at uk transgender sites and maybe make some contacts, i intend to when i hopefully return there in 2011. |

Hi Viki, ive just recently been to Europe (France, Germany, UK and more) but i liked France the best for shopping en femme. For one, its deadly cold there ( i went in december) and so everyone is covered up and usually you cant see much of them except for their faces, so a nice outfit and decent makeup blends in . Also i can speak french and a femme voice is so much easier with the french accents for some reason . But even if you have to speak english they wont mind of your voice, come on its cold! Also since i went in december, i stayed until mid december where the sales had started and they were BIG. Cheaper than Sydney even, imo. ^^ But i was at London at boxing day, and trust me, you want to be there xD. Have fun in Europe! |

Thanks for all the advice
It is coming up very soon 4 August so we will be flapping wings
Pity the Sparkle event in Manchester was not 4 weeks later, I could have been there
If you have not hear Sparkel is a CD TV TG celebration event in Manchester England in mid July. This could be an event worth planning a trip for.
Hugs
