Hi, I'm trying to help a friend who lives in WA. She tells me she has difficulty buying a wig and I was wondering if one of you girls over there could help by giving me an address of a tranny friendly wig shop?
Thanks a heap.

Hi Helen
There are some in WA !! Try Wigs Of Wesley in the wesley arecade .
I have bought some there , very helpful indeed . I have 8 or so wigs at the moment .
Could be talked in to parting with one ( CHEEP) depending on what she wanted she can contact me ay this site if she wishes .
There is always the girls in Perth Chameleons , I am a member but live some distance from Perth and find it difficult t get up there . There is a list of tranny friendly establishments listed on tranny radio as well as the Chameleons .
But tell her fell free to contact them or myself for more info .
Then again there is still good OL" E Bay lol . as well as many other web based outlets .
Wish her well from us , always there to help where we can
Cheers

Hi Helen
Try Unrealhair in
1026 Albany Hwy
Vic Park
9470 4779
I found them to be very helpful and gave me the help I needed to find the right style and colour. It is necessary to see the wig on your head to see if it is right.. In general a long wig can make a masculine jaw stand out while a shorter but wider style takes the eyes away from the jawline so make the face look more feminine but a sitting with a experienced professional can make all the difference.
The expert assistance is just what you need to find the right style to bring out the inner girl.
The wrong wig can make the difference between passing and looking like a trucker on steroids in a dress.
Best wishes Vicki |

Hi Skyee,
The best place I know is Curley Sues, in Russell St, Morley. Right across from the Galleria. Their phone number is 9276-7359.
Let me know how you get on.
Hugs,
Connie. |

She may also wish to try Modern Hair Techniques in East Perth. Ive been there a couple times and the staff are very trans friendly. Christie who used to work at Wigs on Wesley now works there and is familiar with the trans community in Perth.
I got something called a "Fill" from there last week. It gives you a more femme front hairline.
Their address is 66 Brewer St East Perth on the corner of Pier Street, Just over the road from NIB Stadium ( formerly ME Bank Stadium and Perth Oval). Ph 9228 2345 |
