The issue here (I think) is not to do with TrannyRadio or your use of it to send emails.
Spam detection is always a feature of the person receiving the email - and is a very inexact science.
If I get slightly technical the headers on the email are one way that spam filters try and detect spam.
When you use TrannyRadio to send an email it is in a slightly unusual position -
the place sending the email is admin@trannyradio.com
but the email is set up so any replies go back to you and not to the web site emailer
This means the headers look like this:
Subject: Like to meet you
To: someone@email.com
Reply-To: originator@hotmail.com
From: originator@hotmail.com
Return-Path: admin@radio.trannyradio.com
Some crude SPAM filters look at the fact that the person who send the email is not the person who
will receive replies and class it as suspicious.
There is nothing TrannyRadio or the sender can do to influence this.
But the receiver can look at how their spam filter is programmed and see how
they can tell the spam filter that admin@trannyradio.com is a trusted email address that doesn't send spam.
If members reject emails as spam then they soon stop reading any of the automated emails sent from the
web site - and after about 3 - 6 months will have been purged out of the web site. It is important to me
that everyone who has a profile on the site is receiving and reading emails. |
