Many messages sent out from the web site include a small image that looks like this
This is an important part of our monitoring of the integrity of member's email addresses.
When your email program displays the image it also tells TrannyRadio that you have read the email. It is this confirmation that allows us to be sure that emails are not being deleted by spam filters.
If you don't want to display the image that is quite OK.
But the web site will not record that you are reading your emails.
This doesn't matter in the short term. But after a few months you will receive an automated email asking you to confirm that you are still receiving TrannyRadio emails. If you don't reply to this email then the system will assume that your email is broken and you start the slippery slide towards your profile being deleted.
So, in summary, the image is part of the way we ensure that TrannyRadio is an active community and not a collection of dead emails and broken links. |
